This is just my little tribute to my Dad, who was an infantryman in WW2. At almost 92 he is still with us (most of the time) and probably won't be celebrating any reunion today, ANZAC Day. His mates are all gone now and he is a little vague at times.
The black and white photo has him on the right behind the Vickers machine gun, the bottom left photo is hom marching to the Shrine in Melbourne many years ago (that's him sort of in the centre in the light coat and beret style hat, and the photo on the right is a recent one in February of this year of both Mum and Dad having a tender moment. After 68 years of marriage they have been split up into different retirement homes 40k apart and they don't get to see each other very often.
